DORIAN CIRRONE is the author of five children’s books as well as short stories, essays, and poems for children and adults. Her young adult novel, Dancing in Red Shoes Will Kill You (HarperCollins) was featured on recommended lists published by the American Library Association, the New York Public Library, and the Amelia Bloomer List for Feminist Fiction. Her middle grade novel, The First Last Day, (Simon & Schuster) won a gold medal at the Florida Book Awards and was translated into four languages. She enjoys all things related to the craft of writing and has taught for many years at conferences and workshops throughout Florida and online. After many years in kidlit, several as the co-advisor of SCBWI, she is currently revising a suspense novel for adults.
